Today begins the first official day of Summer 2022. It’s been a while since I’ve written. When I wrote in my last entry that changes were around the corner, I was not expecting the kind of changes that actually occurred.
I was planning my new book when suddenly a family crisis appeared – nothing I was anticipating, that’s for sure. But, thankfully, the Lord was in the midst of it all. Proverbs 3:5 tells us to trust in the Lord, even when we don’t understand it. Sometimes life seems so unfair and sends us a curveball within the family unit. My brother became seriously ill and the waters were deep and wide. Though I thought I would be writing my new book, it turns out I was following a path of standing on the word for my brother’s healing. What seemed to be the end for him is now a new beginning – for which I am most grateful. Proverbs 3:5 also states that our crooked paths will become straight.
Today, I see where the Lord allowed my brother’s road to straighten and He generously allowed the same for me. It’s exciting to share that I have once again found myself writing, and, discussing options for advertising my book during the upcoming holiday season.
My prayer for you is that the Lord will also straighten your crooked roads, and give you the desires of your heart.
